The supermodel will make an appearance during the opening ceremony of the games according to Brazilian newspaper Extra . Although details of her appearance have not been confirmed it is believed that the 35-year-old will walk through a "futuristic gateway" at Rio's Maracana Stadium, which represents the theme of the ceremony. Now it's been confirmed she'll join National Geographic's Years of Living Dangerously , for which she'll investigate deforestation of the Amazon Rainforest. The 35-year-olf took to Instagram to announce the news, sharing a snap of her sitting against a tree and flashing a peace sign to the camera. Gisele wrote: "I'm excited to be joining season two of @YearsOfLiving Dangerously as a correspondent, exploring deforestation and climate change in my beautiful home country of Brazil." The article, titled “BLM Goes Hollywood,” took issue with Cullors’s involvement in TV production and recent move to Los Angeles’ Topanga Canyon neighborhood, along with other Black Lives Matter co-founders’ work in film and TV. Berk’s email came weeks after the revelation that the HFPA, which puts on the Golden Globes, has zero Black members , which led the group to commit to having at least 13 percent Black membership by next year.
