Photo: Cafe Today marks the start of President Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial, a historic proceeding of TBD significance that will serve at least two functions as it plays out. The first is an assessment as to whether the country’s institutions will hold the former president accountable for fueling the insurrection at the Capitol last month with his rhetoric, and the second is to function as a kind of litmus test sussing out the shape of the American public’s relationship with politics writ large as we drift deeper into the Biden presidency. Is This Teen Rom-Com Love Interest Really Worth Dating?
Sixteen Candles Photo: Universal Pictures It’s easy to get swept up in a cute teen romance. They’re fun, there’s the nostalgia factor (we were all teens once!), and they’re full of so much hope — the feeling that this is just the beginning . But here’s the thing: Because we’re all so busy getting swept away and having fun and remembering what hope feels like, we don’t always have the most discerning eye when it comes to who our hero has chosen to fall in love with. Really wild how this photo of Emma Stone and Jonah Hill doesn’t even look like a highbrow Superbad reunion, but it actually kind of is. Caress us like one of your … Glossier-pink buttons, Justin Theroux. Maybe it’s because she’s dressed all in red, but — actually, yes, it’s definitely that she’s dressed in head-to-toe scarlet — Sally Field seems like Netflix’s chicest villain this side of Mahershala Ali’s … [Read more...] about Emma Stone and Jonah Hill Do Some Intense Staring in This First Look at
