The K-pop stars — Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, V, Suga, RM, and J-Hope, who all range in age from 23 to 28 — spoke out about being “mocked” and called derogatory slurs. “We recall moments when we faced discrimination as Asians,” they wrote in a message on Twitter in Korean and English. “We have endured expletives without reason and were mocked for the way we look. We were even asked why Asians spoke in English.” They continued saying they felt “anger” in response to the rise of anti-Asian hate crimes and following the deadly spa shootings in Georgia .
