This Morning host Holly Willoughby has made a hilarious claim over the real reason Paddy McGuinness was chosen to replace Fearne Cotton on Celebrity Juice. Host Keith Lemon confirmed the news earlier this month, following Fearne’s departure from the ITV2 series after 10 years. At the time, Holly, who is also on the show, and Keith welcomed Paddy to the family as they bid farewell to their pal. Speaking on This Morning on Wednesday though, Holly made an admission about why he was chosen for the role. While clearly joking to wind Paddy up, she declared they actually wanted someone else. Holly said “Emily Atack wasn’t available” when asked about how the move came about. Paddy was pretty offended by the claims, before the trio laughed it off.
