(AAP: Random House/PR) Map: Aberdeen 2336 A film which will document the life of one of Australia’s most notorious female killers, Katherine Knight, has been picked up by a Hollywood production studio, 16 years after her horrific crime in the New South Wales town of Aberdeen, in the Hunter Valley.Australian film producer, Dane Millerd and screenwriter, Ross Murray have partnered with Shoreline Entertainment to create a film based on Knight’s story and the macabre murder of her de facto partner, John Price in 2000. The 51-year-old former abattoir worker stabbed Mr Price at least 37 times and later beheaded and skinned him before cooking parts of his body, intending to feed his flesh to his three children.She was arrested before the children arrived home to eat the meal.The brutal killing shocked the small town of Aberdeen and Knight was the first Australian woman to be sentenced to life in prison without parole.She is currently serving her sentence at… Read full this story
